This is the frontpage of the CADchUP project.

CADchUP is an interface with tools for some CAD programs like BricsCAD and AutoCAD.

It is used for analysis of accidents but also provides some general tools like a solid generator for (steel) profiles, used for mechanical engineering.

At this moment it supplies the Dutch Police, Royal Marechaussee and others with a consistent interface and standardized structures (titles, layers, work flows,...) for analysis and forensics.

CADchUP is Free Software (open source), hoping people are willing to support and enhance functions and on the other hand offering tools for everyone. It is licensed with a General Public License (GPL). It is developed and supported by StringIT. Help from the community for coding, etcetera is very welcome. You're also welcome to use parts from the source code base.

At CADchUP (voa.cadchup.org) lives a site specific for professionals (Dutch spoken), access is limited. Feel free to contact us if you are Dutch and from a governmental institution.

If you're interested in education you may want to contact ToLearn.IT to get an excellent base and help in specific situations.

StringIT is the current developer and sponsor for CADchUP, delivering hardware (green servers and workstations), commercial support, etcetera, based on Linux and or Windows and or OS-X.
